I might have Pugs now but my family had Dachshunds growing up, so I have a very special place in my heart for these funny animals. Though I think Pugs are the best dogs, Doxies are pretty great too, especially in knitted form!
Meet Tofu the Gentle Dachshund! This new knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit Tofu, the cutie pie Doxie. Tofu is a fast, super satisfying project that knits up easily on many yarn/needle combinations. Since it doesn't take much yarn to knit a Tofu, this is a great stash busting project for all those times you've bought just 1 or 2 balls because something was pretty. Just like Dachshunds themselves, this pattern is very addicting and once you knit one Tofu, you will find you want to knit an entire Dachshund family!
More Info: Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Skills used: Basic knit stitch, increases, decreases, knitting in the round (magic loop), holding live stitches and coming back to them later, three needle bind off, picking up stitches.
